Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: September 25, 2026

Allbio AI LLC is committed to making Allbio.AI usable by everyone in the life science community, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technologies.

1. Our Commitment

We want every member of the bio industry community to be able to read our tutorials, browse listings, join discussions, and submit content — regardless of ability or the technology they use to access the web. Accessibility is treated as part of how we build the site, not as a one-time project.

2. Standard We Aim For

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. WCAG 2.2 AA is the current benchmark referenced in connection with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, the European Accessibility Act (EAA), and EN 301 549 in the European Union.

3. Measures We Have Taken

  • Semantic HTML structure with page landmarks and a single main content region.
  • A “Skip to main content” link so keyboard users can bypass the site navigation.
  • Interactive components (menus, dialogs, tabs, form controls) built on accessible UI primitives that provide keyboard operation and ARIA semantics.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative images marked as such.
  • A design-token color system chosen with text contrast in mind, plus support for resizing text and zooming without loss of content.
  • Responsive layouts that reflow for small screens and magnified viewports.
  • Focus indicators and logical tab order throughout the interface.
  • Keyboard shortcuts for site-wide search (Cmd/Ctrl+K, or / outside text fields), with full keyboard operation in the search dialog — arrow keys to move between results, Enter to open, and Escape to close.

4. Known Limitations

We want to be straightforward about where we fall short today. Known limitations include:

  • Some icon-only buttons and controls may not yet expose a clear name to screen readers.
  • Some form fields may rely on visible placement rather than a programmatically associated label.
  • Heading levels on a few longer pages may skip a level, which can affect screen reader navigation.
  • Member-submitted content — listings, comments, event descriptions, profile photos, and uploaded images — is created by third parties. We cannot guarantee that alternative text or document attachments supplied by others meet WCAG 2.2 AA. We address reported issues through our moderation process.
  • Third-party services embedded in the site, such as checkout, authentication, and analytics providers, are outside our direct control.

5. Assistive Technology and Browsers

The site is developed and reviewed against current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, and is intended to work with common assistive technologies including VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, browser zoom, and keyboard-only navigation. We do not claim formal certification with any specific assistive technology.

6. Reporting an Accessibility Barrier

If you encounter a barrier on Allbio.AI, please tell us. Include the page address, a description of the problem, and the browser and assistive technology you were using, if known. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 5 business days and to provide a remedy or a timeline for one.

7. Alternative Access

If any content on the site remains inaccessible to you, contact us and we will work to provide the information in an alternative format, such as plain text or a direct written response.

8. Ongoing Review

We review accessibility as part of ongoing site work and update this statement when known limitations change. The review date above reflects our most recent assessment.
