Terms of Service

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and, if using the Service on behalf of an organization, that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information, keep it current, and notify us promptly through our contact form (fastest — requests are tracked in our support queue), or by email at legal@allbio.ai, of any unauthorized use or security breach. Sign-in is by email and password.

Allbio.AI is a hub for artificial intelligence in life sciences, biotech, biopharma, and the broader bio-industry. The Service includes editorial content, a job/hiring board ("HIRE Board"), community discussions, tutorials, courses, events, and related tools. We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time.

You retain ownership of content you submit, post, or upload to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Allbio AI LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, modify, and create derivative works from that content, solely in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the Service. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this license, that your content is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that your content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

You may not submit content that is confidential, proprietary, or that you are not authorized to share. You understand that other users may view, reference, and interact with your User Content in accordance with these Terms and your profile visibility settings.

Published contributions are public and may appear in search engines, and they are always credited to you. Signed-in members see your real name and a link to your profile on your contributions; signed-out visitors and search engines see only "An Allbio.AI member." Paid listings display the company or organizer name, never your personal name. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Violations may result in content removal, suspension, or termination. Refund treatment depends on whether the listing was published: see Section 6.

The Service offers the following paid products, priced per listing as displayed at checkout:

• HIRE Board job listings
• Products & Services listings
• Sponsored listings
• Courses
• Events

Payment processing. Allbio AI LLC is the seller of every paid listing. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, which handles payment processing, tax calculation and collection, invoicing, and refund processing for our orders. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Consumer Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Fees. The current fees for every paid listing type are published in our Pricing Schedule, which forms part of these Terms. All fees are in U.S. Dollars (USD) and are one-time payments for a fixed listing period. The price shown on the submission form at the moment you pay is the price that applies to that purchase.

One-time purchases. Paid listings and job posts on Allbio.AI are one-time, fixed-term purchases. They do not auto-renew. If you want to extend a listing, you must purchase a new listing period. If we introduce recurring subscriptions in the future, we will clearly disclose the recurring term, renewal date, cancellation method, and acknowledgment requirements before checkout.

Concierge Staging. Where we offer to prepare a listing draft on your behalf, you review a private preview and the listing publishes only after you purchase it through the standard checkout; the service is billed, if at all, as disclosed at the time of your request, separately from the listing price.

Free event and course listings. A listing qualifies as free only when the entire event, course, or program is available without a trial, donation, membership, paid certificate, upgrade, add-on, or other charge. Free course listings expire after the term selected by the submitter unless they confirm that the listing remains current. Paid event listings remain visible for their full purchased term, including after the event itself ends, and then remain available as read-only archived records. Free event listings move to the read-only archive after the listed event ends.

Pre-publication rejection (always refundable). If we decline to publish a paid listing during review, no service has been delivered. You may either revise and resubmit the listing (up to three times) or request a full refund. If you do neither within 14 days of the rejection notice, we automatically issue a full refund and close the submission.

Published listings: 15-day refund window. For 15 days after a listing goes live you may request a full refund of that published paid listing from your account. The refund closes the listing at the same time, and each purchased listing may be refunded once. After that window, refunds are at our discretion and are normally pro-rated against the unused portion of the listing period. Removing a listing yourself does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund. We may decline refunds, or decline future paid listings, where we identify repeated refund abuse.

Changes to a published listing. You may submit edits to a published paid listing's content; the published version remains live until we approve the edits. The placement and listing period you purchased cannot be changed after payment.

Post-publication removal (discretionary). If a listing is published and later removed because it violates these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, the service has been partly or fully delivered. Refunds in that case are at our discretion and may be denied in whole or in part.

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Except as stated above or in that policy, fees are non-refundable other than as required by law. We may offer free trials from time to time. To prevent abuse, free trials are limited to one per employer/organization for HIRE Board listings, and we reserve the right to deny, revoke, or charge for trials that we determine, in our reasonable discretion, are abusive or duplicative. Free-trial abuse protections apply through December 31, 2026, after which trial terms may be revised and republished.

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Stripe (payment processing), Lovable/Supabase (database, authentication, hosting, and email infrastructure), and Plausible (optional analytics). Your use of these integrated services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, product listings, job posts, tutorials, and community content. We do not endorse, verify, or control third-party content, and your interactions with third parties are solely between you and them. Allbio AI LLC is not responsible for the accuracy, safety, legality, or quality of third-party content or services.

External Links Disclaimer. When you click a link that takes you away from Allbio.AI, you will typically see a notice reminding you that you are leaving our platform. For your convenience, we exempt a small set of reputable scientific, regulatory, and preprint sites (including, for example, PubMed/NIH, FDA, EMA, Nature, Elsevier, Science, Cell, Springer, bioRxiv, medRxiv, and arXiv) from this notice. Exemption from the notice does not mean we endorse, monitor, or accept responsibility for those sites. Your use of any external site is at your own risk and subject to that site's terms and policies.

Except for User Content, all content, trademarks, logos, and materials on the Service are owned by or licensed to Allbio AI LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

The Service is provided "AS-IS" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Content on Allbio.AI, including tutorials, articles, use cases, and community posts, is provided for educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute medical, clinical, legal, financial, regulatory, investment, or professional advice. Community-submitted tutorials and code are not independently tested or verified by Allbio AI LLC, and you use them at your own risk.

AI Assistant Disclaimer. Huxley, our AI assistant, generates responses using large language models accessed through Lovable's AI Gateway. Huxley's outputs are for general information and navigation assistance only, may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, and should not be relied upon as professional, medical, clinical, legal, regulatory, financial, or investment advice. Do not submit protected health information, trade secrets, or other sensitive personal data to Huxley.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Allbio AI LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or reputation, arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100 if no payment was made.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Allbio AI LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, your interactions with third parties through the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or is otherwise harmful to the Service or other users. This includes conduct reported by other users through the Service's reporting tools. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, but provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

Informal Resolution First. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us through our contact form (preferred, so your notice is logged and tracked) or by email at legal@allbio.ai, and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

Binding Arbitration. If informal resolution fails, any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except as provided below. The arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator, in English, and will take place in San Francisco, California unless both parties agree otherwise.

Arbitration Opt-Out. You have the right to opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of creating your account or accepting these Terms, whichever is later. To opt out, send a written notice to legal@allbio.ai with "Arbitration Opt-Out" in the subject line, your full name, and the email address associated with your account. If you opt out, disputes will be resolved in court as set forth in Section 16, but the rest of these Terms will continue to apply.

Exceptions. Either party may (a) bring an individual action in small claims court if the dispute qualifies; (b) seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm; or (c) enforce an arbitration award in court.

You agree that any proceedings to resolve disputes will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class action, consolidated action, representative action, or private attorney general action. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims or preside over any form of representative or class proceeding. If a court determines that this class action waiver is unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim must be severed and litigated in court, and the remaining disputes will be arbitrated.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any court proceedings permitted under the Dispute Resolution section shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.

Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, California residents are entitled to the following specific consumer rights notice:

Complaints regarding the Service may be reported to the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs by mail at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210 or (916) 445-1254.

By using the Service and providing your email address, you consent to receive electronic communications from us, including agreements, notices, disclosures, and other transactional or legal documents. You agree that electronic delivery satisfies any legal requirement that such communications be in writing, to the extent permitted by the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN) and similar laws.

You represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country subject to a U.S. or other applicable government embargo, and that you are not on any U.S. or other applicable restricted-party list. You will not use the Service in violation of export control or sanctions laws.

If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, and incorporate your feedback without restriction or obligation to you. We may use feedback for any purpose.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Related Policies. Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. You can change your cookie and privacy choices at any time using the “Your Privacy Choices / Cookie Preferences” link in the site footer. Our accessibility commitments are described in our Accessibility Statement.

Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Allbio AI LLC regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction.

Force Majeure. We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, epidemics, pandemics, fires, earthquakes, floods, strikes, shortages, failure of telecommunications or internet services, or governmental action.

Notices. Notices to us should be sent to the addresses in Section 22. Notices to you may be sent to the email address associated with your account or posted on the Service.

Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.

Survival. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Dispute Resolution, Class Action Waiver, Governing Law, and General Provisions.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service.
